i will go to furano (富良野) for another farm stay tmr. since i dunno if i will hv any internet access there, i decided to come to this internet cafe near obihiro (帯広) train station for another update.
this morning i went to hokkaido obihiro museum of art (北海道立帯広美術館） for i wanna check out gomi taro (五味太郎) exhibition. actually i didnt know much about this artist, but went anyway since its poster caught my eyes. its good, especially when i went with a japanese coworker, 雅子さん (Masako), cuz i could just ask her when there was something i didnt understand.
i esp like the one on the right. its about how one should take things slowly instead of rushing thru things all the time 🙂
then before i came to this internet cafe, we went to a very famous japanese dessert shop, 六花亭 (rokkatei). it has many shops in hokkaido now. n according to Masako, sometimes some department stores in 本州 (honshuu) will sell rokkatei’s products as a special feature. n whenever they do so, the department stores will get so crowded n the items will be sold out very quickly.
this shop we went today is the original one. it has a cafe too, but since i didnt wanna wait for like an hour (its sunday…), we had our snacks in its coffee area instead. if time allows, i wanna go there again, maybe in sapporo, wanna check out its cafe.
they r really good! n cheap too. in fact, the price is similar to what one will get in a convenient store. no kidding. here, 2 mochi (3 actually, since one of them has two in the package) + 1 red bean bun costed me 290 yen 😉
