a friend of mine asked for the itinerary of my 5-day backpacking trip (today is the forth day). i m going to put it up here so to share w everyone. pls let me know if u have any question.
n i will put up some pix n details in other posts when time allows n internet access is available 😉
day 1: otaru (小樽)
took the 7:39am train from furano (富良野), arrived minami otaru (南小樽)at 10:42am
what i did: started frm minami otaru station n walked towards the otaru station direction, many shops n resturants there, headed back to sapporo (札幌) after an early dinner
accommodation: i-cafe (a first class internet cafe 5 min walk from sapporo JR station 8) )
day 2: hakodate (函館)
took the 7:00am train from sapporo, arrived hakodate at 10:11am
what i did: brunch in the morning market (函館朝市), then to goryokaku tower (五稜角) by bus, next, went to jujigai (十字街) area by local tram n checked out some churches n some kinda euro style buildings, then squid festival (イカ祭り) in the evening, n caught the 8pm bus to the peak for hakodate’s beautiful night view
accomodation: hakodate plaza hotel (not very good, but at least it has clean bathroom with strong hot water supply, for 3700 yen, what more could i ask for? )
day 3: noboribetsu (登別)
took the 7:04am train frm hakodate, arrived noboribetsu at 10:41
what i did: hiked a bit in jigoku dani (地獄谷), lunch n hotspring in daiichi takimotokan (第一滝本館), headed to back to sapporo for dinner
accommodation: i-cafe
day 4: sapporo
what i did: walked to the nijo market (二条市場) for breakfast, then to the tv tower, the clock tower, the botanic garden, etc. then went to hokkaido university for lunch n sightseeing, then to hitsuji gaoka (羊ヶ丘) with a friend, he drove

day 5: sapporo
will leave sapporo for my next wwoof host in tsurui mura (鶴居村) by the 2pm train, not sure what i will do, maybe will go to hokkaido university n just chill, or go to daimaru (大丸) to check out a photography exhibition by ikuo nakamura (征夫中村), dunno yet 😛
